Bocce Ball is a popular & social game that originated in Italy, but is played all over Europe. Two teams are trying to throw their bocce balls as close as possible to the small white ball.
Our bocce court is currently open Friday through Sunday. It’s available for walk-ins only at a rate of $7.50 per person, per hour, with a maximum charge of $50 per group. For more info watch our video tutorial.
At Kiez, bocce is all about good times with good people and friends, and a little friendly competition. To keep the vibe fun and respectful for everyone, we ask all players to follow this simple code of conduct. Anyone not playing by the rules may be asked to step off the court—or even out of the venue.
Here's how we roll:
No food on the courts. Drinks are totally fine, but please keep food on the side rails at the east end and snack only when you're off the court.
Players only on the court. If you're not in the current game, cheer from the sidelines.
Underhand throws only. And remember—this is bocce, not bowling. Be gentle out there.
Keep it on the court. Unless the earth shakes beneath you, there’s no reason for a ball to leave its designated lane.
Time’s up when it’s up. If another group is waiting, wrap it up when your session ends. Whoever’s leading in points at that moment wins. No one waiting? You’re welcome to extend your game.
Be cool to your neighbors. We’re all here to have a good time.
Most importantly—have fun!
Prost!
